Item duping

Attention all players.

Item duping is not a myth. It is not a lie. It is a legitimate "trick".

Read the following excerpt form the site.

Legend+ Difficulty Mode

Beat the game on Legend difficulty and choose Play Now in the Online Play section.

Drop all items you want to dupe, have another player pick up the items, and then quit the game via the XMB. Load the game back up and you will still have all your items, while the other player retains them also.

This above information is available to all and is not a scheme to rip-off someones gear. I've done this and it works.

I was of cousrse skeptical at first, but it is true, it works. A friend of mine told me about it and since we have helped each other with our builds.

Host - Host a game
Host - invite friend with stuff to dupe
Guest - drop items to be duped
Host - pick up items
Guest - Quit game
Host - once they leave, immediately send them an invite
Upon his/her return, both of you will now have the same stuff

Is this possible offline?

Good question. We shall see.

Yes, it can be done locally. I asked the question. The answer is, turn off the controller.

Well, I tried it and I failed. Either I did it wrong or it does not work. Lost daggers and fortunately got them back with the help of a friend.

I'll let someone else post the procedure. If there is one. Dupe locally at your own risk.

Test it on an item you don't care about.
