Barracks - where are they?

I am in Jenemo (? not sure of spelling) village and have been through Forge, slums etc and now have rescued all of the fairies.

Now my next place to go to is the 'barracks' but I simply cannot find where they are, so I am stuck. Any hints please?

Somehow I get the feeling that hardly anybody is playing this game any longer. I guess it is an old game?
It is a really nice game, if I only knew how to keep on playing now but apparently nobody else knows where the Barracks are either, so anybody now playing the game must've only just started it or not gone very far.

I am only lvl 24 now.
