My End Game *Crippling Strike* Balance Build Empty
PostSubject: My End Game *Crippling Strike* Balance Build   My End Game *Crippling Strike* Balance Build I_icon_minitimeTue Mar 13, 2012 3:31 pm

After trying pretty much every build in this forum and what I could think of this is my end build for the most balance. Other build such as the berserker build or similar require too much potion spamming and the fact of being killed in a few hits just bothers me so ...here are my results for the most balanced build.

This build focuses on using the most damage/mana efficient attack skill plus defense skills mixed with MP/HP regeneration all in which minimize potion spamming and increase efficiency and output.

Skill Point Distribution at level 75

Crippling Strike - 10 points; (This will be your one and only attack throughout the game. It has fast attack and high damage; combined with a two-handed weapon from Heavy Lifter and speed from Invigorating Aura and Blood Rage)
Heavy Lifter - 10 points; ((This skill is beneficial in two ways for the purpose of this build 1) It allows the use of two-handers while using your shield which increases kill speed 2) It lowers the amount of strength needed to use gear which will allow an extra +30 points to be spent into Endurance and or Energy))
Invigorating Aura - 10; (This skills allows more attack speed for Crippling Strike which overall increases damage output plus it rapidly regenerates MP which decreases the amount of potions needed)
Large Pouch - 4; (Dump the rest of your skill points into here after the rest are maxed out, 19 potions is plenty)
Guardian Defense - 10; (This increases your block rate significantly which will decrease the amount of damage you take and it allows you to resist interrupts by 70% which will let you continue attacking bosses and mobs without being interrupted which can get annoying sometimes)
Fast Metabolism - 10; (This skill is good to have because it'll help keep your health up and decrease the amount of potions needed. This skill stacked with +HP items helps quite a bit)
Blood Rage - 10; (This skill stacked with Invigorating Aura will increase speed by 55%, attack speed = faster killing.)
Weapon Specialist - 10; (Obvious enough, this increases the overall damage quite a bit.)

The reason I chose to avoid Hardness is because the amount of armor increase (+200) is insignificant relative to the amount of armor that the warrior will already have (2,000+ armor), I feel that the skill points are more productive in Fast Metabolism since it's constantly working every second to regain another 20 HP.

Stats

Strength - Just enough to use gear; I recommend putting on your rings on first because they don't require any stats and then putting just enough to use your armor and adding points as you need them until you have enough to use your weapon. Don't worry about not doing enough damage, this build produces plenty to take down any mob/boss in hero/legendary mode.
Dexterity - Base, use an axe because its the highest damage weapon in the game and only requires strength.
Endurance - The rest of the points go here after you have about 800 MP and enough strength for your gear.
Energy - You'll want about 800 MP for this build ..with my current gear I have 42 points here which gives me a total of 802 MP.

With this build you will be able to take heavy damage wipe out huge groups and take down any boss very fast. Although you will need to use potions no matter which build you decide to make, this one minimizes that usage.

Enjoy, Please leave feedback.

cheers

I actually am aiming for the same thing you are. However, I need other people to be in the group when im playing, simply because only my skills will do damage (Only 'Crippling Strike 'and the fairy AOE)

I mainly put just enough points into armor (Like you did) But put everything else into endurance, which gave me really high HP (It's a big number for sure Very Happy)

All I do is just stand there while spamming my abilities, and taking quite often, the most damage and blocking usage in the game. The other members in my party would be damage dealers, either rogues using there 'Assasination' or the mages spamming there highlevel 'Meteor' AOE

I try to find as much gear that has HP regen, and because of that it's around 60 (Minus 2 or 3) That way if I suddenly take to much damage, a wait a few minutes and it comes back up, very useful when im the last person standing Very Happy

Nice build but not enough offense for my taste. I have a question though. How does using a shield (instead of sticking with 2-handed) increase your kill speed? Faster aspd w/ a shield?
