Hey. I'm new to the Forum here. I'm a regular over at GameFAQs.
I'm sorry for the "book" I'm about to write. It's my experience with some of the DH:A character bugs/glitches. Maybe it can provide some insight for others who might be dealing with these issues. At least until Gameloft provides a patch/update.
I've posted this over at GameFAQs and Gameloft and I'll leave the links here just as reference

To Whom It May Concern,
I understand Gameloft is working on an update/patch to fix these issues, but I wanted to share my experiences in case it might help the Team(s) working to resolve it.
I have a level 64 Mage who is stuck in Skyburg on Legend Mode. I also have a level 75 Warrior and a level 75 Rogue. I have tried everything I can think of to get my Mage out of Skyburg using my other characters, but it just won't work unless I can get him to see the Act 6 - The Stone Bridge quest. PSN is still undergoing "maintenance", so I figured I'd just start over with a new character.
I started another Mage, but my plan was squashed by yet another glitch in the game - I get to Act 12 with my new Mage, beat the Dark Queen and finish Hero mode. When I get back to the main menu (after the credits roll) and select Legend mode, the game starts me off in Thamos Village with an empty quest log. All the gates are closed in Thamos Village, none of the NPC's have any quests available and when I try to get back to the Royal Tomb through the Dead Pit, I find the bridge is out leading back to it. I can only get as far as the Goblin King's gate, but the gate will not open because I don't have the quest to trigger it (the Creamator wasn't there on the way either).
I've had so many issues with characters getting stuck - black screens, white screens, blank maps, no quests, behind walls, behind gates, in lava, etc etc. I've noticed there are different versions of some maps that may be contributing to some of these issues. For instance, porting from the Ritual Room to Howling Woods can start you out in the North part of Howling Woods where you have to make your way South-ish to the Skyburg gates OR it can start you out in the South where you have to make your way North-ish to the Skyburg gates. My Mage on Hero mode started in the North of Howling Woods and on Legend mode he started out in the South. At one point when I was trying to get him unstuck (from Skyburg) I saved his Hero mode in Howling Woods and this caused his Hero mode to be stuck behind the gates in Howling Woods. I could get him unstuck from his Hero mode by adding him as Player 2 and defeating any of the Gothicus Gates bosses with my level 75 Warrior or Rogue on Hero mode.
I was hoping to get my new Mage up to the point where my first Mage is stuck in Skyburg so that I could add my Skyburg Mage as Player 2 right when my new Mage entered the area and they would both do Act 6 - The Stone Bridge together. Then I could save in a new map to hopefully fix the issue, but it looks like I'll just be waiting patiently until PSN is back up and I can find an online group that is in Skyburg on Legend mode...
I ended up making a new Rogue character and completed Hero mode with him and guess what...the game started me off in the Goblin's Lair (reversed map layout) with no quests in my quest log. So now he is stuck in the beginning section of the Thamos Village area, too.
I was going to use this new Rogue's Act 1 - The Awakening (Legend) quest by adding it to my new Mage's quest log through local co-op so that I could work my way toward Skyburg to save my original Mage in the same way.
Because of the similar issues I had making a second Mage and a second Rogue, I'm beginning to wonder if the game is (unknowingly) programmed to only allow one of each character class to progress into Legend mode.

Just updating that I have successfully unlocked my Mage from the grey Skyburg save without having to use an online group. Unfortunately, I cannot provide clearly defined instructions on how to do this, as there was a lot of randomness involved, but Jeremo Market was the key.
Sometimes when you teleport to Jeremo Market there will be two (2) quests available even if you've already done them. Those quests are "Act 7-The Corrupted Lord" and "Find The Book". They will show up on the minimap as the usual light blue exclamation points. I was able to add my Skyburg Mage as Player 2 by letting Controller 2 time out (Sony Wireless Controller).
I went ahead and did both the Jeremo Market quests and teleported back to Skyburg where I was able to complete both of the Act 6-The Stone Bridge quests (Skyburg and Stone Bridge). When I made it back to Jeremo Market, I headed for Jeremo Slums, saved my game and returned to the main menu. My Legend mode Mage displayed "Jeremo Slums" at the character selection screen and when I loaded the file, sure enough, he was finally out of Skyburg.
